Tungkod PH Launches “Christmas in Our Arts” for the Deaf and Blind Community


Tungkod PH, a non-profit organization founded by University of Sto. Tomas – Senior High School graduates, has launched Christmas in our Arts, an online art competition,

Participants will pay ₱150 as entry fee and one vote will cost ₱20. An individual may choose to vote several times. This Yuletide fundraiser is for the benefit of the Deaf and Blind Foundation of the Philippines.

Christmas in our Arts aims to bring joy in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic by providing 15 Noche Buena packages to Tungkod PH’s beneficiaries. Tungkod PH aims to raise about ₱20,000 through the online art competition. The winner will be announced on December 16, 2020 (Wednesday). Interested participants may visit Tungkod PH’s Facebook Page for updates on the competition.

Tungkod PH is dedicated to raising awareness about the condition of Filipinos living with impairments. The organization is also working with the PVI community to help this sector gain more recognition in society, as PVIs can have a more significant role in nation-building.
